Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about what Review Expert does today and what is still coming.
Which review sources does Review Expert support?
Apple App Store and Google Play. App Store reviews come from the official App Store Connect API using your API key. Google Play reviews come from the Google Play Developer API plus a history backfill from your Play Console review exports. Google Maps, Yelp, Amazon, Microsoft Store and other sources are planned but not available yet.
Can I see Google Play reviews older than 7 days?
Yes. The Google Play Developer API only returns reviews created or modified in roughly the last week. Review Expert also imports the monthly review CSV reports that Play Console writes to a Google Cloud Storage bucket, so your older Google Play review history shows up next to new reviews.
How often are new reviews synced?
After the first history sync, Review Expert checks for new and updated reviews roughly every 5 minutes on every plan.
Can my team reply to reviews from Review Expert?
Yes. Any team member (owner, admin or reviewer) can reply to App Store and Google Play reviews, or edit an existing reply. The reply is posted back to the store through the official Apple and Google APIs. You can also start from an AI draft written by a self-hosted model, or let auto-reply rules draft replies for approval or post them for you.
Which integrations are included in each plan?
Slack and Linear are on every plan (Starter and up). Microsoft Teams and Zendesk are on Pro and Enterprise. Custom webhooks are on Enterprise. Zapier is coming soon. Every destination can filter reviews by minimum rating, maximum rating and keywords.
Does Review Expert use AI to analyze sentiment?
Not yet. Today the sentiment breakdown is based on star rating: 4–5 stars count as positive, 3 as neutral and 1–2 as negative. Natural-language sentiment and topic extraction are coming soon.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $49/month (2 apps, 5 team members), Pro is $149/month (4 apps, 15 members) and Enterprise is $399/month (10 apps, unlimited members). Billed annually, they are $39, $119 and $319 per month. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and you can cancel anytime.
Is there an API or MCP server?
Yes. The Review Expert MCP server is live on every plan. Create an API key in Settings → MCP (or connect over OAuth) and point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own agent at https://review.expert/api/mcp. There is no separate REST API; MCP is the programmatic interface. See the MCP docs at review.expert/docs/mcp.
