Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (or the organization you represent, “you”) and Voltaire Innovations, Inc., a Delaware corporation, 390 NE 191st St STE 17414, Miami, FL 33179, USA (“we”, “us”), for use of Review Expert at review.expert (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. The Service

Review Expert lets you connect your own apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, sync their reviews, reply to them, view analytics, and route reviews to third-party tools you connect. Features marked “coming soon”, “early access” or “beta” may change, may be withdrawn, and are provided without any commitment that they will become generally available.

2. Accounts and teams

  • You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and team, and for keeping access to your email (used for one-time sign-in codes) secure.
  • Team owners and admins control which members have access and what roles they hold. Owners are responsible for their team’s compliance with these Terms.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@review.expert if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, trials and billing

  • Plans. We offer a Free plan and paid plans (currently Starter at US$49, Pro at US$149 and Enterprise at US$399 per month billed monthly, or US$39, US$119 and US$319 per month billed yearly), described on our pricing page, including limits on apps, team members and destinations.
  • Free trial. Your first paid subscription includes a 14-day free trial; later subscriptions do not. A valid payment card is required at Stripe Checkout to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the plan price (monthly, or the full annual amount for yearly plans) when the trial ends. A reminder email is sent through Stripe before the trial converts. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive monthly or annual periods at the then-current price until cancelled, and you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each period. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of price changes, which apply from your next renewal; you may cancel before then.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, and are subject to Stripe’s terms. We do not store your full card details. Fees are in US dollars and exclude taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), which are added where required and which you are responsible for.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then; your account then moves to the Free plan.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law or stated here, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial periods. If we terminate the Service without cause or because we discontinue it, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused period. Consumers in the EEA/UK: by starting a paid subscription you request that the Service begin immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully provided; for a partially provided period, you may withdraw within 14 days of the first charge and receive a proportionate refund.
  • Plan changes. You can upgrade or downgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. If a downgrade puts you over a plan limit, you may need to remove apps, members or destinations.
  • Non-payment. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features after notice and retries until the balance is paid, and move your account to the Free plan if it remains unpaid.

4. Your content and credentials

“Your Content” means the data you provide or that we retrieve at your direction, including store credentials, review data, replies and settings. You keep all rights to Your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit Your Content only to provide, secure and improve the Service, and as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Agreement (available on request) forms part of these Terms.

You confirm you are authorized to connect each app and account you add, and to give us the App Store Connect API keys, Google service accounts and destination authorizations you provide. You are responsible for the replies you publish through the Service, including their compliance with store policies.

5. Third-party platforms

The Service relies on third-party platforms, including Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console and Google Cloud, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Linear, Zendesk, webhook endpoints you configure, and our AI provider, Anthropic (or OpenAI where enabled). AI-generated output may be inaccurate, and you must review it before publishing. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, including the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, and changes to their APIs, rate limits or policies may affect the Service. Review Expert is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Google, Microsoft, Slack, Linear or Zendesk.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • connect apps or accounts you are not authorized to manage;
  • use the Service to post replies that are unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or that violate Apple or Google policies;
  • post fake reviews, solicit incentivized reviews, or manipulate ratings;
  • attempt to access other teams’ data, probe or break our security, or disrupt the Service;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it, or use it to build a competing product;
  • resell the Service or share accounts outside your team;
  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law, including privacy and export control laws.

We may suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or puts the Service or others at risk.

7. Our intellectual property and feedback

We own the Service, including its software, design and branding. These Terms do not give you any rights to it except the right to use it as permitted here. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms or non-payment, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will try to give reasonable notice. After termination, we may delete Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT EVERY REVIEW WILL BE SYNCED OR DELIVERED TO A DESTINATION, OR THAT REPLIES WILL BE ACCEPTED OR PUBLISHED BY APPLE OR GOOGLE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US$100 IF GREATER. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO YOUR PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS, A PARTY’S INDEMNITY OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILFUL MISCONDUCT, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, the replies you publish, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after written notice. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence or of your right to bring proceedings in its courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here, update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify account owners by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
