Some review tools scrape public store pages. Review Expert doesn't. Using the App Store Connect API and the Google Play Developer API means you see the same reviews you see in App Store Connect and Play Console, including your existing developer responses, and it is what makes posting replies back to the store possible.
The trade-off is that you can only connect apps you publish (or have developer access to). If you need competitor review monitoring or ASO keyword data, a broader suite may suit you better; see our honest comparisons.
Setting up both stores usually means a few minutes in App Store Connect, Google Cloud Console and Play Console. The App Store and Google Play pages walk through each step.
