App reviews in Microsoft Teams
If your company runs on Microsoft 365, your app reviews should show up there too. Review Expert posts App Store and Google Play reviews to Microsoft Teams channels, filtered by star rating and keywords, so support, product and leadership see what users are saying.

What the Microsoft Teams integration does
Each new review that passes a destination's filters becomes a card in the Teams channel you picked.
Reviews as channel cards
Cards show the reviewer, star rating, review text, store, date and app, with a link back to the review.
Rating and keyword filters
Send only the reviews each channel needs, such as 1 to 2 stars or mentions of "refund".
Reply in one place
Open the review in Review Expert and reply; the response is posted back to the store.
Set up Microsoft Teams
- 1
Connect your apps
Add App Store and Google Play apps under Apps & Businesses. Review Expert syncs history first, then checks for new reviews roughly every 5 minutes. - 2
Connect Microsoft Teams
In the Review Expert dashboard, open Automation, choose Manage destinations (or Add destination), click Connect next to Microsoft Teams and approve access. A Microsoft sign-in window opens. - 3
Get admin consent if asked
The first connection for your organization may require a Microsoft 365 or Teams administrator to approve the permissions. Once approved, the window closes on its own. - 4
Choose a channel and set filters
Pick the channel that should receive reviews, then set the minimum rating, maximum rating and any keywords.
Filters explained
Teams destinations use the same three filters as every Review Expert destination. A review is posted only if it passes every filter you set:
- Minimum and maximum rating, both inclusive. Min 4 and max 5 sends only positive reviews.
- Keywords, matched case-insensitively anywhere in the review text. A review needs to contain just one of them. Reviews with no text are skipped when keywords are set.
Example channel setups
- Customer Care › App reviews: min 1, max 2. Negative reviews for the support rota.
- Mobile › Bugs: keywords
crash, error, won't load. - Company › Kudos: min 5, max 5. Happy users, shared with everyone.
- Finance › Billing mentions: keywords
refund,charged,subscription.
