Set up AI reply rules
Reply rules decide which new reviews get an AI reply and what happens to it: saved as a draft, held for approval, or posted to the store. Owners and admins can create rules.
Create a rule
- 1
Open Automation & AI Replies
In the sidebar, open Automation & AI Replies and click Create Automation, or start from a preset such as Auto-publish positive reviews; require approval for negative review replies. - 2
Select apps
Choose the apps the rule applies to. - 3
Set conditions
Leave Any new review is received, or add conditions such as review rating, review text, app version or country. - 4
Choose tone and instructions
Pick the AI response tone (professional, friendly, empathetic or casual) and add custom instructions, such as your support address or what not to mention. - 5
Decide what happens to replies
Turn on Approval Mode to keep replies Pending until someone approves them, or Publish replies automatically to post them as soon as a matching review arrives. With both off, replies are saved as drafts.
Good to know
- Drafts are written in the language of each review. See multilingual replies.
- Each AI reply counts toward your plan: Starter includes 100 a month; Pro and Enterprise are unlimited.
- Drafts that invent facts, promise fixes or include contact details you didn't provide are rejected and rewritten once.
- You can still reply by hand to any review from the Dashboard.
